So We’ve Been Publicly Enlightened: What Jon Ronson Wants Us to Learn from Our Own Behavior

I absolutely love the message of this book! The internet provides people with so much distance and anonymity that people, who are probably good people in real life, end up saying the nastiest, hateful shit. I definitely think that part of us thinks we are doing the “right” thing by calling people out for doing something “wrong,” but we forget that we all do and say stupid “wrong” shit all the time, but we can usually correct ourselves before anyone notices or starts a Twitter war over it. Go forth, and don’t forget your empathy online people!
