Nothing to trade

1–2 minutes

Hah! This week, our CSA box included artichokes again. Did you miss my rant about artichokes a couple of weeks back? Check it

And here is proof that most of Tucson  apparently agrees  with me! The above picture is of our CSA trade table this week. I had to keep my artichokes because there was nothing else to trade for (other than one bunch of dandelion greens which are a bit too bitter for me).

As always, click on the link to find a farmer or CSA near you!

Despite the artichokes and dandelion greens, we still love getting our CSA box. Other goodies in this week’s box: red potatoes, yellow onions, arugula, beets, kale, and carrots! Lots of great basics to go with any meal.

Who’s your farmer?

Yes! I missed your artichoke rant. I´ll have to go back and check that out. I´m also curious to know what a CSA is….

    1. Community supported agriculture – you’re basically buying into a local farm. You pay upfront and the farm sends you whatever food is being harvested each week. It’s awesome. Here is a post about why I think CSA boxes are legit and everyone should sign up:
